Enjoy walking? A camper van makes the perfect base

Millions of people enjoy walking as a recreational pursuit and it is hardly surprising given the health benefits it provides. The UK has hundreds if not thousands of miles of paths and trails to be discovered and in many cases walking provides the only access to some of the most spectacular scenery the country has to offer. Our vans are a great addition to a walking holiday, park, walk, put the kettle on at the end of a hard slog and stay the night. Plan the following day over dinner and a glass of chilled wine from the fridge whilst your boots dry by the heater.

Walk North Wales

Why? Well quite simply from the mountains of Snowdonia, and the outstanding beauty of Anglesey in the North to the coastal paths in the West and the Llangollen/Montgomery canal walks further South, North Wales provides some of the most spectacular scenery in the UK. As a bonus, most of it is within an hour’s drive of our location!

Witness the wildlife, the ancient history and the culture of North Wales along the 60 miles North Wales path from Bangor to Prestatyn, the Offas Dyke path from Prestatyn or The Edge of Wales coastal path along the top of the Llyn Peninsular to Bardsey Island following pilgrim’s routes.

There are routes for all abilities so whether you want a long mountain trail or a gentle amble with the children there will be something suitable almost everywhere. Check out the following websites for helpful tips.
